| Libya aids victims of Chad Fighting…. |
| The Foundation said the aid is aimed at assisting the victims of fighting in Ndjamena, particularly women and children. About 40 doctors and nurses with various specialties will be sent to Ndjamena to set up a field hospital. Aid shipments, including 20 tones of pharmaceutical products, four ambulances as well as electricity generators, will also be sent to the Chadian capital in the next three days. About 200 Chadian nationals wounded in the recent fighting are currently being treated in Libya. According to the International Committee of the Red Cross fighting in Ndjamena has left more than 1,000 people wounded, but the committee has given no figures for those killed. |
