UN chief is frightened by renewed violence in West Darfur…..
The United Nations has condemned the bombing of a camp refugees and internally displaced persons in the renewed violence in the Darfur region of Sudan. The world body's refugee agency has had to withdraw its staff from the volatile Sudanese-Chadian border area after a series of aerial bombardments over the past two days in West Darfur. The UN Chief Ban Ki Moon calls on all rival parties in that region to urgently cease hostilities and commit to the peace process

UN chief is frightened by renewed violence in West Darfur…..
The conflict in Darfur is said to be getting worse. Sudanese air forces and militia have allegedly renewed attacking villages and camps for internally displaced people.Thousands of destitute refugees are now running away towards the Chadian border, which is another dangerous situation. The UN sees this as a warning of an imminent wave of violence. The worsening security situation has now further complicated the daunting challenge faced by the humanitarian agencies in Darfur. The Security Council warns that the attacks are hurting the chances of a political settlement in Sudan which are pursued by the world body and the African Union. They are calling on the Sudanese government and the rebels to commit themselves to the obligations of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement or the CPA which was signed At least 200 thousand people have been killed and over two million others displaced since the fighting began five years ago.
