Jack’s is unaware that his henchmen are ready to stab him in the back. Samuel is intrigued when he recognises a client from a photograph that was shown to him earlier that day. Episode 211(2005 02 August 06 Anne’s theory regarding a secret admirer may be more accurate than people realise. Forcing two people together in a romantic setting may not necessarily make them lovers... Good advice sometimes outlasts the worst situations, and Karabo may benefit from it the second time round. Episode 212 (2006) 03 August 06 Dudu’s prepared to set her scruples aside and play middleman, at a cost. Queen’s elated about an event that will land her in the middle of a select group of rich and hopefully eligible men. A well timed threat of violence overthrows Ngamla’s desperate plans to rid him of an unwanted burden. Episode 213 (2007) 04 August 06 A trusting Ntombi takes a leap of faith, one she may well very soon come to regret. Karabo’s blood runs cold when she’s surprised by an intruder. Angela’s frustration seems to affect and consume her whole existence. Busi is shaken when she walks in on a major row between two sworn enemies. Episode 225 (2019) 22 August 06 A party with good intent turns disastrous when Lumka shares some astonishing news. Happy go lucky Samuel receives several well meant warnings but takes none to heart. A despondent Ngamla has to succumb to pressure when it hits very close to home. Episode 226 (2020) 23 August 06 Busi is totally confused when Jack forces her to lie without an explanation.. Vincent finds another scheme that will put money in his pocket without any effort. Tau is thrown when the race is won and the winner is willing to step down without ceremony. Episode 227 (2021) 24 August 06 Angela’s elated when she’s accepted by her captive audience. A tender moment innocently develops between two friends under unforeseen circumstances. Ngamla anxiously awaits a response from the devil he knows. Episode 228 (2022) 25 August 06 Zandi makes no bones about defending someone close to her heart.An unfazed Dudu gives the open plan gang an instant lesson in giving as good as you get. Siphiwe is totally miffed when he realises someone else is treading on his turf. Episode 229 (2023) 28 August 06 There’s a very sticky situation developing at the commune. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it motivates Tau to take on an enemy without a soul. Khethiwe is shaken when she experiences first hand that you can’t con a conman. Will Ntombi be able to convince herself that she’s looking forward to a carefree escape? Because Lumka is unable to choose she refuses to get involved in the choices that others have made. Episode 231 (2025) 30 August 06 Ntombi’s exasperated when Samuel gives her advise on the requirements for a fantastic holiday. Could Siphiwe be the proverbial pot that’s calling the kettle black? Tau cunningly stays two steps ahead of a very dangerous enemy. Health-freak Dudu returns from shopping with bags of stuff which nobody wants to eat. If Duma knows what’s good for him he’ll run and hide - Jack Mabaso’s on his trail. Episode 169 (1963) 02/06/06 : Cleo doesn’t want a date, but Queen ignores that and organises each of them a man – over the Internet! There’s no love or romance when Anne and Ngamla clash over the Valentine’s ball. Karabo’s glad Tau told Angela, Khethiwe and Khaphela she’s now a non-negotiable part of his life. Episode 170 (1964) 05/06/06 : Khaphela and Khethiwe are skeptical when Tau denies there’s a problem between him and Angela. Like a fly in a spider’s web, so Duma’s trapped by Jack’s plan to keep him indebted to him. Busi’s mentoring of Zamani gets off to a very bad start. Episode 171 (1965) 06/06/06 : Although Zandi’s first day is a disaster, a frustrated Siphiwe keeps his cool. Lumka’s torn – should she choose her career, or one exciting evening with her husband? When Jack’s being "kind" to Duma, you can be sure big trouble’s brewing. Episode 172 (1966) 07/06/06: A desperate Cleo’s forced to ask a favour of Ngamla, to save face. Zamani’s at a loss when Busi offers him a very generous and expensive gift. The Dinangwe account gets off to a bad start when client and ad exec almost come to blows. Episode 173 (1967) 08/06/06 : An intrigued Dudu realises Anne and Dr Mark Braydan are no strangers to each other. An innocent-looking package which Lumka receives, contains something ominous. When Tau shows his romantic side, the crowd at the Valentine’s ball goes wild. Episode 174 (1968) 09/06/06: When a few nasty characters gatecrash the Valentine’s ball, a brawl almost breaks out. Queen’s livid when Cleo gets the best blind date ever! Everyone’s gossiping, which forces Busi to defend her toy-boy relationship with Zamani. Episode 175 (1969) 12/06/06: Khethiwe realises Tau’s probably lost to her forever. Ngamla sows seeds of doubt by referring to Siphiwe taking Zandi to the Valentine’s ball. Karabo feels Tau should tell Angela their news sooner rather than later. Episode 176 (1970) 13/06/06: Anne shows a surprisingly sincere side to her character when she congratulates Tau. Siphiwe’s finding it hard to outwit the mystery caller, who keeps slating Lumka. Khaphela knows exactly why Khethiwe’s suddenly so keen to visit everyone back home. Episode 177 (1971) 14/06/06: An embarrassed Zamani’s forced to borrow money from colleagues. Queen gets dumped – in public, by a man she had no interest in, in the first place! If Jack has plans for Dinangwe, don’t expect them to be above board. Episode 178 (1972) 15/06/06: Ntombi loves seeing Ngamla squirm when someone takes a formal picture of him. Tau’s impressed with Siphiwe, who’s still got what it takes as advertising creative. There’s a showdown when Ngamla confronts a smug Jack about handing out free cigars at Tsalanang. Episode 179 (1973) 16/06/06: Zamani’s not interested when an apologetic Dudu tries to make up for treating him like dirt. A matchmaking Queen dishes out advice to Cleo on how to snare Gareth Cliff. Khaphela’s worried, but Tau’s not too fazed that they haven’t heard from Khethiwe yet. Episode 180 (1974) 19/06/06 : A sadistic Ngamla grinds Siphiwe – because as their client, he can be as difficult as he wants. Dudu makes a big mistake when she confides in Anne after a particularly tough day at work. Are Zandi and Siphiwe getting too friendly with each other? Episode 181 (1975) 20/06/06 : Khethiwe’s strangely evasive about when exactly she’ll be coming back to Jozi. A grateful Zamani presents Busi with a touching and heart-felt gift. Ngamla gets his first view of his newly remodeled gentlemen’s club, and what a surprise it is! Episode 182 (1976) 21/06/06 A bored Queen’s desperate to find a madly exciting hobby to keep her busy. When a guilty Duma’s story doesn’t add up, Jack gives him the perfect alibi. A coldly calculating Anne destroys vital evidence of her underhand tactics. Episode 185 (1979) 26/06/06 : Anne mind stays blank when it comes to generating ideas without Dudu’s help. Ntombi has a plan how to deal with the mystery caller, but Siphiwe doubts it’ll work. Ngamla gets the uneasy feeling Jack will always be one step ahead of him. Episode 186 (1980) 27/06/06 : Khaphela warns Khethiwe to show Karabo the respect she deserves as Tau’s companion. Tau’s amused yet impressed by how mature Tumi’s suddenly become. When a boy kisses a girl, he should make sure it’s what she wants him to do… Episode 187 (1981) 28/06/06 : There’s pandemonium when two almost identical magazines from different stables, hit the newsstands. Dudu can’t believe it when everyone suspects her of stealing Anne’s ideas. Zandi prevents Siphiwe from being cheated by a shady electrician. Episode 188 (1982) 29/06/06 : Dudu realises when, where and how Anne stole her ideas for the magazine. Ntombi and Ngamla have a huge fight. Is it the end of their relationship? Angela sees something in Karabo which she wants to copy. Episode 189 (1983) 30/06/06 : As the investigation hots up, Anne gets more and more anxious she’ll be found out. Generations May 06 Episode 145 (1939) 01 May 06 : Cleo and Karabo try to figure out why Ntombi’s not delirious about being pregnant. The new guy Zamani is offended by what Dudu sees as a harmless prank. Afri-Media staff finds it hilarious that the normally bossy Sibusiso gets broody and mushy about babies. Episode 146 (1940) 02 May 06: Cleo picks up on a drastic change which has taken place in Dudu. Badge-lady Thandiso has very bad news for Khethiwe. During an awkward dinner party, Ntombi makes a gut-wrenching announcement. Episode 147 (1941) 03 May 06 : Anne has a tactless, yet very symbolic gift for a totally unimpressed Ngamla. Things are going missing at the Ezweni offices – who’s the thief? As the queen of romance, Queen gives an amused Tau tips on how to charm Karabo. Episode 148 (1942) 04 May 06 : A pained Thandiso and uncomfortable Khaphela say emotional goodbyes. Lovebirds Tau and Karabo have a huge fight… about Mandla of all people. Tau tells Khethiwe how she can make their lives a whole lot less complicated. Episode 40 (1834) 05 December 2005: Ntombi behaves outrageously when she overdoses on caffeine and an energy-boosting tonic. Bradley’s intrigued by the latest "game" rich guys around the country, are playing. When Jonathan proposes something drastic Tau’s against it, but Khethiwe backs him up. Bradley realises if he wants the girl, he’ll have to take an interest in the things which interest her. Dudu won’t stand for Ntombi interfering or giving advice when it comes to Sista Magazine. Episode 58 (1852 27 December 2005 It’s not particularly glamorous, but Khethiwe’s found the perfect part-time job. Busi begs a stunned Siphiwe to reconcile with Jack, whom she brands a changed man. Something’s afoot if Ngamla’s playing Good Samaritan to Jack. Episode 59(1853) 28 December 2005 Tau may be a reformed man, but he’s pained by the impact his bad reputation has on an innocent like Angela. Cleo offers her help which Khethiwe declines – it’s clear she’s bitten off more than she can chew. Siphiwe begrudgingly plays a golden oldie dedication from Busi to Jack. Episode 60 (1854) 29 December 2005 Ngamla’s absurd lobola demands could ruin Siphiwe’s wedding plans. Bradley would like to see more of Dudu, but she keeps putting work before their relationship. Episode 80 (1874)26/01/06 Karabo knows the only way to work with Anne, is to restrict her as far as is humanly possible. Tau loses his temper with Khethiwe when she neglects her duty towards Angela. When Lumka and her father have a huge fight, he threatens to boycott the wedding. Episode 81 (1875) 27/01/06 : Siphiwe lies to his future father-in-law, in order to protect Lumka and restore the peace before their wedding. Will Khethiwe’s new business crash and burn before it’s even got off the ground? Someone offers Bradley a weird form of entertainment for the bachelor’s party he’s organising. Episode 82 (1876) 30/01/06 : When the magician’s magic act goes wrong, Bradley’s life hangs in the balance. Lumka’s kitchen tea is an utterly humiliating experience – for all the wrong reasons. Khethiwe advises a frustrated Tau on how to really get through to Angela. Episode 83 (1877) 31/01/06 : The groom is nervous, the bride is late – is this a typical wedding, or what? Cleo gives Khethiwe a tiny sliver of hope when it comes to winning Tau’s affections. Karabo seriously doubts it, but Busi’s adamant she can help Jack change to become a better man. Episode 256 (1790), 04 Oct 2005: Karabo stubbornly refuses to work with Jack, and sets Busi a very clear ultimatum. Queen’s ego is out of control when it comes to her status at Ezweni. When there’s a crisis at the radio station, Ntombi begs a nervous Siphiwe to help out. Episode 257 (1791), 05 Oct 2005: Talk about sibling rivalry and fighting dirty! Busi and Sibusiso start slandering each other in the papers. People are on the edge of their seats as Siphiwe broadcasts live. Can he crack talk radio? A cunning Jack has a love-struck Busi exactly where he wants her. Episode 258 (1792), 06 Oct 2005: Sibusiso’s not sure he can trust Jack, if the man’s talking about going into a partnership with Busi. Tau’s not happy about what he overhears when Khethiwe’s on the phone to Thenjiwe. Lumka’s horrified when she hears about a modelling contract Siphiwe’s been offered. Episode 259 (1793), 07 Oct 2005: Lumka refuses to sign Siphiwe up with Ezweni if Jack Mabaso’s on board. Bradley’s disgusted when a spiteful Anne threatens to take back his house. Khaphela has devastating news about the wellbeing of his wife, Thenjiwe. Episode 260 (1794), 10 Oct 2005: Siphiwe wonders why a criminal like Jack would want to work for Busi and Karabo. Queen’s obsession with keeping her voice smooth and silky, is working on everyone’s nerves. Vuyo and Lumka say sad goodbyes over the phone. Episode 1 (1795), 11 Oct 2005: When Tau sets Karabo an ultimatum, it’s the ideal way to stop Jack from joining Ezweni. Siphiwe goes to turn himself in, but strangely enough he no longer has a criminal record. Khaphela’s torn between doing his duty, and being with the woman he loves. Episode 2 (1796), 12 Oct 2005: Siphiwe uses drastic measures to stop Lumka from going on a spending spree. When Cleo gets devastating news, she blurts out that she’s not sorry about what happened at all. Karabo’s adamant she and Busi will make up their own minds on the Jack issue, but Tau’s not in the mood for games. Episode 3 (1797), 13 Oct 2005: Queen’s convinced now that Khethiwe’s in the picture, Karabo wants Tau back. Jack reminds Busi that if the tape Tau has falls into the wrong hands, it’ll be tickets for him. Although it pains her deeply, Cleo makes a huge sacrifice when it comes to Khaphela. Episode 4 (1798), 14 Oct 2005: Ntombi warns that Busi must ditch Jack, or she’s leaving and taking The Boozer Show with her. Tension erupts as Jack and Ngamla prepare to pull off a daring raid on New World Media. Karabo’s given in to pressure from Tau, but she’s also about to give in to a kiss… Episode 5 (1799), 17 Oct 2005: Her fight with Karabo gets so ugly, that Busi threatens to contact her lawyer. Cleo’s shattered to think that she may never be with Khaphela again. Khethiwe’s shocked to hear that Karabo’s agreed to look after the kids in Tau’s absence. Episode 6 (1800), 18 Oct 2005: Jack and Ngamla are celebrating a successful raid, when Jack gets disturbing news. There’s a shocking twist to Busi and Anne’s visit to a hypnotist… There’s mayhem when Bradley thinks he recognises the "cops" involved in the AFU bust. Episode 7 (1801), 19 Oct 2005 :When Ntombi accuses Anne of taking over Busi’s life, Karabo has a hard time keeping the peace. Tau’s suspicious when Ngamla generously offers to help catch the culprits behind the raid. Queen’s frantic when her voice mysteriously becomes little more than a faint croak. Episode 8 (1802), 20 Oct 2005 :Karabo and Busi finally declare a truce and share their impressive plans for Ezweni. Tau warns Ngamla he broke the rules – the ad industry won’t forgive him for that. Ntombi’s touched when Jonathan confesses he’d prefer her, not Karabo, to baby-sit them. Episode 9 (1803), 21 Oct 2005 :Tau’s puzzled when Khaphela says Khethiwe refuses to come back to Gauteng. Bradley’s rattled when he gets an unmistakable warning from Jack Mabaso. After a girls’ night out, a babelaas Cleo makes a heart-breaking confession to Lumka. Episode 10 (1804), 24 Oct 2005: Khethiwe’s flattered when Tau calls to say he – and the children – want her to come home. Lumka and Siphiwe are torn about signing with Ezweni when they overhear Busi and Karabo arguing. Tau asks Bradley’s help to bring down Jack, knowing that it’ll mean taking a trip into hell. Episode 11 (1805) 25 Oct 2005: A desperate Ngamla uses one of Ntombi’s articles and – would you believe it - takes credit for it. Bradley’s on good terms with Busi, and Queen doesn’t like it one bit. Tau gets an anonymous phone call, offering him first option on the goods stolen during the raid. Episode 12 (1806) 26 Oct 2005: Why is everyone lying to Lumka, who’s desperate to know what happened to her mother? Karabo has to cover like crazy when Ntombi wonders if she still has feelings for Tau. Anne’s shocked when Busi reveals who was responsible for her parents’ death. Episode 13 (1807) 27 Oct 2005 : Jonathan and Thumi get up to mischief, but they’ll pay dearly for their disobedience. Ngamla’s spreading nasty rumours about Busi’s involvement in the New World Media raid. Queen’s torn between staying loyal to Karabo, or saying accepting a glamorous job in Cape Town. Episode 14 (1808) 28 Oct 2005: Karabo’s tongue-tied when Angela asks why her romance with Tau didn’t work out. Anne should watch her step – Ngamla doesn’t appreciate people digging in his past. An emotional Lumka begs Busi for her mother’s phone number. Episode 15 (1809) 31 Oct 2005 : The women are getting very suspicious about the strange hold Anne has over Busi. A clever, cunning Anne manages to get Busi to buy her a really expensive gift. It’s payback time - those rumours a spiteful Ngamla spread, have boomeranged on him. |

To Tau’s dismay, Dr Wilson’s cleverly managed to erase all evidence against Jack. Episode 234 (1768) 02 Sept 05 Could it be that there’s a whole new career in talk radio, waiting for Queen? Busi’s intrigued to find out Tau’s sold the shares she wanted to buy from him. Despite Ntombi’s warnings, Bradley insists on doing his duty towards an unstable Anne. Episode 235 (1769) 05 Sept 05 Tau’s hot on the heels of the villain who’s ripping off buyers with watered-down wine. Ngamla plays his trump card to blackmail Jack into calling off the hit on Randy and Siphiwe. Busi’s sleepwalking takes a dangerous turn. Episode 236 (1770) 06 Sept 05 Cleo explains to Khethiwe why she can never be a true wife to Khaphela. Vuyo’s utterly relieved to hear about Siphiwe and Randy’s miraculous escape. A vengeful Lumka sets up the evil Dr Wilson, but is she clever enough to trap her? Episode 237 (1771) 07 Sept 05 There’s shambles when a beauty queen pitches at Ezweni – plus, Tau’s somehow involved. Just what lengths will Anne go to, to get Bradley’s attention? Jonathan’s all cagey when he’s caught burying something in the garden. Cleo makes the utlimate sacrifice so Khaphela can be with Thenjiwe. Episode 246 (1780) 20 Sept 05 Sibusiso gives a pleased Vuyo a job, but it’s far from what he expected. When Bradley’s new surname is revealed there’s general laughter. A grim Anne speculates about what could happen to Jack if his wound’s not treated. Episode 247 (1781) 21 Sept 05 Queen’s leaving the country, but is she serious about not coming back? Khethiwe’s subconscious reveals that she has big plans for her and Tau. Cleo and Karabo discuss why women keep loving men who are no good for them. Episode 248 (1782) 22 Sept 05 Cleo thinks she knows what’s behind Angela’s unexplained fainting spells. Everyone’s shocked when Queen announces she overheard Anne plotting to get Jack killed. Vuyo bamboozles Ntombi into getting him a job at Ezweni. Episode 249 (1783) 23 Sept 05 A shaken Jonathan refuses to tell Khethiwe what name Angela’s been crying out in her sleep. Everyone’s horrified by the terrible price Jack had to pay for disappointing local crime lords. Out of the blue, Lolo announces to a heart-broken Lumka that he’s returning to the USA. Episode 250 (1784) 26 Sept 05 As per Ngamla’s instructions Vuyo’s infiltrating Ezweni, but a suspicious Karabo’s onto him. Ngamla is powerless to stop himself from alienating his daughter and his sister. Ntombi’s unsettled by Anne’s weirdly possessive nature. Episode 251 (1785), 27 Sept 05 Cleo realises Khethiwe’s feelings for Tau go much deeper than she’s prepared to admit. Busi’s touched by Anne’s caring concern for her. Will Vuyo be prepared to help out Tau when it’s a matter of life or death? Episode 252 (1786),28 Sept 05 Typical - while everyone’s desperately looking for Vuyo, he’s chatting up a babe! Ngamla tempts Jack Mabaso with a top secret scheme which he promises will make them super-powerful. There’s panic in the Mogale household when Angela’s tormented by the spirit world. Episode 253(1787), 29 Sept 05 Is it possible that Anne’s really found a way to cure Busi’s sleepwalking? Vuyo’s fervent appeal to the ancestors has the desired effect, and Angela’s saved. Karabo takes note of the close bond which is forming between Khethiwe and Tau. Episode 254 (1788), 30 Sept 05 When Busi hints at giving Anne the job of receptionist, a miffed Queen acts to protect her turf. The break-up between Lumka and Lolo is a painful event.
