Episode 190 (1984) 03 July 06 :The guys at the commune may have to look for a new tenant soon. Not everyone’s thrilled with Queen’s latest hobby which is messy and takes up a lot of space. Jack can now add arson to his list of criminal activities.
Episode 191 04 July 06: The Sista/Gloss debacle was an attack aimed directly at a furious Ngamla. Angela got herself something special at the flea market – Tau will be furious! Karabo has an ingenious plan to tighten the reigns on a frustrated Anne.
Episode 192 (1986) 05 July 06: Should an anguished Khethiwe listen to her head, or to her heart? Busi unexpectedly gives Sibusiso life-saving gift. Zandi and Siphiwe plan a very controversial wild-card show which will split audience opinions.

Episode 201 (1995) 19 July 06: Queen has an unusual way of thanking people for their kindness. Zamani feels out of his depth when some strangers make a kind gesture. Lumka feels that playing cupid for an unsuspecting couple would be in order.
Episode 202 (1996) 20 July 06 Ntombi gets very uptight when an unexpected visitor appears on her doorstep. Khethiwe’s riled when she’s unfairly accused of bad business practice. Angela’s fast becoming an expert manipulator.
Episode 203 (1997) 21 July 06: Anne’s espionage leaves much to be desired, and Cleo is not intimidated. The whole of Ezweni is up in arms when Mr. Khumzi arrives for a hearing. The badge ladies are hatching a plan to get their own back.
Episode 204 (1998) 24 July 06: Dudu desperately tries to prevent an embarrassing secret from being exposed to the communards. Ntombi is thrilled when she receives a heart warming surprise from abroad. A very intense assistant seriously lays into an unsuspecting prankster.
Episode 205 (1999) 25 July 06 Karabo takes some unnerving news extremely well. Phil is bending over backwards to become the photographer on a new project. Tau dispenses some well received "fatherly" advice to a very confused husband.
Episode 206 (2000) 26 July 06 Khethiwe is highly concerned when a confidential item suddenly vanishes. Ngamla does not take very kindly to Anne barging in unannounced, and makes no bones about it. The sun and the wind miraculously help to lessen all Cleo’s anxiety.
Episode 207 (2001) 27 July 06: Love is in the air and the "Cupids’ " have a great time with this affair. A peeved Anne and confronts an old business associate about her recent conduct. Samuel is intrigued at the prospect of getting down and dirty with a very gorgeous lady.
Episode 208 (2002) 28 July 06: Tau and Karabo are intrigued about Dinangwe’s new cigar supplier. Dudu makes a huge decision by herself but this may come back to haunt her. Angela helps to corner the Best Name Badge file thief, and things get ugly.

Episode 211 (2004) 01 August 06: Cleo, who nervously anticipates getting a visitor, is ready to "revamp" the whole house to make it safe. Jack’s is unaware that his henchmen are ready to stab him in the back. Samuel is intrigued when he recognises a client from a photograph that was shown to him earlier that day.

Good advice sometimes outlasts the worst situations, and Karabo may benefit from it the second time round.

Dudu’s prepared to set her scruples aside and play middleman, at a cost. Queen’s elated about an event that will land her in the middle of a select group of rich and hopefully eligible men. A well timed threat of violence overthrows Ngamla’s desperate plans to rid him of an unwanted burden.

A trusting Ntombi takes a leap of faith, one she may well very soon come to regret. Karabo’s blood runs cold when she’s surprised by an intruder.
The hunt is finally over, and a distraught Zamani is trapped like a caged animal.

The price of playing cupid may be more than an optimistic Siphiwe had bargained for. Angela’s frustration seems to affect and consume her whole existence.

Ntombi is unsettled by Sibusiso’s grave promise to ensure that no more harm comes to his family. The badge ladies find themselves in a dire situation and Khethiwe doesn’t know how she’ll get them out. Jack proves again that he’s at his most dangerous when backed into a corner

Will Siphiwe’s "Original Sin" bring him forgiveness or cause havoc with his relationship? Tau is concerned that an associate’s obsession with respect is going to cost him dearly.
Ngamla’s act of revenge leaves him totally at the mercy of his worst enemy.

Ntombi is inconsolable when an ill-fated event leaves her beloved at death’s door. Lumka is furious about a tactless comment that is made just after she receives a horrifying telephone call. Zamani’s unconcerned about the implications when he rushes over to lend his boss a shoulder to cry on.

Zandi misconstrues a kind gesture and causes major upset at the commune. The plot thickens around Khethiwe and her future becomes darker by the day.

An anguished Siphiwe tries his best to let go of his hostility, albeit for someone else’s sake. Overzealous Zandi’s dishes out some unwanted advice that seriously rocks the love boat.
It seems that Tau can confidently handle any situation, but parenting is a tough nut to crack.

Lumka seems to be making a habit of deliberately ignoring issues that upset her. Zamani does his best to help sort out some family issues, but his own family seems to be in need of some stitching up. Khaphela is becoming increasingly suspicious about Best Name Badge’s sudden and badly motivated move.

Tau’s efforts to be romantic and spontaneous are not just a gesture, but a confirmation of things to come. Busi is pained when she has no alternative but to follow her head and deny her heart. Jack prematurely plays host to some unsavoury characters who are anxiously awaiting the opening of Dinangwe.

Betrayal is the worst kind of revenge, and Jack thoroughly enjoys rubbing his enemy’s nose in it. Dudu is puzzled when it becomes apparent that one of the house mates is on someone’s most wanted list. Ntombi fears that Freedom Day is not intended for her when she unexpectedly receives a visit from the authorities.

Generations June 06’ Synopses
Episode 168 (1962 01/06/06 Tongues begin wagging as Zamani and "older woman" Busi start their tutorial sessions. Health-freak Dudu returns from shopping with bags of stuff which nobody wants to eat. If Duma knows what’s good for him he’ll run and hide - Jack Mabaso’s on his trail.
Episode 169 (1963) 02/06/06 : Cleo doesn’t want a date, but Queen ignores that and organises each of them a man – over the Internet! There’s no love or romance when Anne and Ngamla clash over the Valentine’s ball. Karabo’s glad Tau told Angela, Khethiwe and Khaphela she’s now a non-negotiable part of his life.
Episode 170 (1964) 05/06/06 : Khaphela and Khethiwe are skeptical when Tau denies there’s a problem between him and Angela. Like a fly in a spider’s web, so Duma’s trapped by Jack’s plan to keep him indebted to him. Busi’s mentoring of Zamani gets off to a very bad start.
Episode 171 (1965) 06/06/06 : Although Zandi’s first day is a disaster, a frustrated Siphiwe keeps his cool. Lumka’s torn – should she choose her career, or one exciting evening with her husband? When Jack’s being "kind" to Duma, you can be sure big trouble’s brewing.
Episode 172 (1966) 07/06/06: A desperate Cleo’s forced to ask a favour of Ngamla, to save face. Zamani’s at a loss when Busi offers him a very generous and expensive gift. The Dinangwe account gets off to a bad start when client and ad exec almost come to blows.
Episode 173 (1967) 08/06/06 : An intrigued Dudu realises Anne and Dr Mark Braydan are no strangers to each other. An innocent-looking package which Lumka receives, contains something ominous. When Tau shows his romantic side, the crowd at the Valentine’s ball goes wild.
Episode 174 (1968) 09/06/06: When a few nasty characters gatecrash the Valentine’s ball, a brawl almost breaks out. Queen’s livid when Cleo gets the best blind date ever! Everyone’s gossiping, which forces Busi to defend her toy-boy relationship with Zamani.
Episode 175 (1969) 12/06/06: Khethiwe realises Tau’s probably lost to her forever. Ngamla sows seeds of doubt by referring to Siphiwe taking Zandi to the Valentine’s ball. Karabo feels Tau should tell Angela their news sooner rather than later.
Episode 176 (1970) 13/06/06: Anne shows a surprisingly sincere side to her character when she congratulates Tau. Siphiwe’s finding it hard to outwit the mystery caller, who keeps slating Lumka. Khaphela knows exactly why Khethiwe’s suddenly so keen to visit everyone back home.
Episode 177 (1971) 14/06/06: An embarrassed Zamani’s forced to borrow money from colleagues. Queen gets dumped – in public, by a man she had no interest in, in the first place! If Jack has plans for Dinangwe, don’t expect them to be above board.
Episode 178 (1972) 15/06/06: Ntombi loves seeing Ngamla squirm when someone takes a formal picture of him. Tau’s impressed with Siphiwe, who’s still got what it takes as advertising creative. There’s a showdown when Ngamla confronts a smug Jack about handing out free cigars at Tsalanang.
Episode 179 (1973) 16/06/06: Zamani’s not interested when an apologetic Dudu tries to make up for treating him like dirt. A matchmaking Queen dishes out advice to Cleo on how to snare Gareth Cliff. Khaphela’s worried, but Tau’s not too fazed that they haven’t heard from Khethiwe yet.
Episode 180 (1974) 19/06/06 : A sadistic Ngamla grinds Siphiwe – because as their client, he can be as difficult as he wants. Dudu makes a big mistake when she confides in Anne after a particularly tough day at work. Are Zandi and Siphiwe getting too friendly with each other?
Episode 181 (1975) 20/06/06 : Khethiwe’s strangely evasive about when exactly she’ll be coming back to Jozi. A grateful Zamani presents Busi with a touching and heart-felt gift. Ngamla gets his first view of his newly remodeled gentlemen’s club, and what a surprise it is!
Episode 182 (1976) 21/06/06 A bored Queen’s desperate to find a madly exciting hobby to keep her busy. When a guilty Duma’s story doesn’t add up, Jack gives him the perfect alibi. A coldly calculating Anne destroys vital evidence of her underhand tactics.
Episode 183 (1977) 22/06/06 : When Ngamla forces Busi to choose between him and Jack, who will she choose? Ntombi’s suspicious when Anne says there’s no preview copy of the latest issue of Gloss. Tau’s in for a huge surprise when his doorbell rings late one night…
Episode 184 (1978) 23/06/06 : Tau’s of no use when Angela struggles with a Home Ec project. Although it irks her, Karabo has to admit Anne’s been doing excellent work on Gloss. Khaphela’s proud to realise Khethiwe’s built up a very successful badge-making business.
Episode 185 (1979) 26/06/06 : Anne mind stays blank when it comes to generating ideas without Dudu’s help. Ntombi has a plan how to deal with the mystery caller, but Siphiwe doubts it’ll work. Ngamla gets the uneasy feeling Jack will always be one step ahead of him.
Episode 186 (1980) 27/06/06 : Khaphela warns Khethiwe to show Karabo the respect she deserves as Tau’s companion. Tau’s amused yet impressed by how mature Tumi’s suddenly become. When a boy kisses a girl, he should make sure it’s what she wants him to do…
Episode 187 (1981) 28/06/06 : There’s pandemonium when two almost identical magazines from different stables, hit the newsstands. Dudu can’t believe it when everyone suspects her of stealing Anne’s ideas. Zandi prevents Siphiwe from being cheated by a shady electrician.
Episode 188 (1982) 29/06/06 : Dudu realises when, where and how Anne stole her ideas for the magazine. Ntombi and Ngamla have a huge fight. Is it the end of their relationship? Angela sees something in Karabo which she wants to copy.
Episode 189 (1983) 30/06/06 : As the investigation hots up, Anne gets more and more anxious she’ll be found out. Lumka feels bad about not being able to read Braille, when Zandi can. Dudu, who’s done some investigating, corners Dr Braydan about the truth. |

Episode 145 (1939) 01 May 06 : Cleo and Karabo try to figure out why Ntombi’s not delirious about being pregnant. The new guy Zamani is offended by what Dudu sees as a harmless prank. Afri-Media staff finds it hilarious that the normally bossy Sibusiso gets broody and mushy about babies.
Episode 146 (1940) 02 May 06: Cleo picks up on a drastic change which has taken place in Dudu. Badge-lady Thandiso has very bad news for Khethiwe. During an awkward dinner party, Ntombi makes a gut-wrenching announcement.
Episode 147 (1941) 03 May 06 : Anne has a tactless, yet very symbolic gift for a totally unimpressed Ngamla. Things are going missing at the Ezweni offices – who’s the thief? As the queen of romance, Queen gives an amused Tau tips on how to charm Karabo.
Episode 148 (1942) 04 May 06 : A pained Thandiso and uncomfortable Khaphela say emotional goodbyes. Lovebirds Tau and Karabo have a huge fight… about Mandla of all people. It’s crunch-time, and Lumka has to make a decision about the Hit Factory job.
Episode 149 (1943) 05 May 06 : Lumka’s horrified – no, gobsmacked – when Dudu moves into the commune. Poor Angela learns that as a Grade 8 in high school, she’s at the bottom of the food chain. It’s quite funny when Anne’s desperate attempts to trap Dudu, are a miserable flop.
Episode 150 (1944) 08 May 06 : Why does a devious Anne suddenly want more information on truth serum? Busi throws her weight 100% behind Lumka, who’s very grateful for her aunt’s support. Ngamla’s blood runs cold when Jack sends a nasty reminder that he’s not out of the picture – yet.
Episode 151 (1945) 09 May 06: Khethiwe has a great idea which is guaranteed to put her business on the map. Lumka stands her ground – she’ll work for Ngamla, but on her terms. Tau proves to Karabo that tonight Mandla’s the last thing on his mind.
Episode 152 (1946) 10 May 06: Why is Anne so interested in the uses and effects of truth serum? Tau’s reached the end of his tether with Jason’s absenteeism. Lumka’s nose is out of joint when her father treats her like just another employee, nothing special.
Episode 153 (1947) 11 May 06 : Siphiwe makes a touching on-air dedication to Lumka, for which Roger teases him mercilessly. Karabo advises Tau to give Angela some space, so she can find her feet. Why is the mysterious Zamani so interested in Busi, that he’d steal her purse?

Episode 137 (1931) 19 April 06 : Jack’s "poor pitiful me" act works on Busi, but is she as gullible as she seems? Bradley snubs Anne when she tries to reach out to him one last time. Tau gets the kind of news from London which every parent dreads hearing.

Episode 83 (1877) 02 February 06 : The groom is nervous, the bride is late – is this a typical wedding, or what? Lingo’s found out Bradley’s Anne’s weak spot and he’s not afraid to use that against her. Tau lays down some ground rules of his and Angela’s father/daughter relationship.
Episode 84 (1878) 03 February 06 : The wedding’s put Ntombi and Ngamla in a romantic mood, but all Cleo feels is a sense of loss. While Queen basks in her success as a wedding planner, the Phosas’ honeymoon gets off to a rocky start. Will Jack take it, when Tau offers him a chance to restore his credibility by beginning a new life as a decent human being?

Episode 87 (1881) 08 February 06 :: Is cold-hearted Jack starting to develop genuine feelings for the ever-loyal Busi? Khaphela questions Tau’s decision to go the therapy route with an unhappy Angela. Anne warns Bradley he could get hurt because of her, but after all that’s happened, why would he listen to her now?
Episode 88 (1882) 09 February 06 :: Against all odds, the wheel turns and an evil Jack gets his just desserts. There’s a huge surprise in store for the inhabitants of Bradley’s house. Karabo warns Ntombi that Sibusiso only sees her as someone who can give him a son and heir.

Episode 91 (1885) 14 February 06 :: Seeing Bradley at the mercy of a scumbag, gives Anne a taste of her own medicine. Tau realises he’s been handling Angela’s therapy sessions in completely the wrong way. The old Jack’s back and he’s as spine-chillingly dangerous as ever.
Episode 92 (1886) 15 February 06 :: Why would Ntombi stop Lumka and Siphiwe from broadcasting at the last minute? That two-faced Jack Mabaso – the gentle lover one minute, and cold-blooded monster the next. All this baby-talk can make things very awkward for a couple in a sexless marriage.
Episode 93 (1887) 16 February 06 :: Khethiwe’s mortified to realise running her business from Tau’s home is inconveniencing both him and Khaphela. Tau reaches out to Karabo, but she neatly and politely rebuffs him. Surprisingly, Anne finds a way to defuse what could’ve been a major diplomatic incident.

Episode 99 (1893) 24 February 06 :: A spiteful Siphiwe shows Karabo he doesn’t like having his talk-show topics censored. Ngamla and his lawyer intimidate poor Phil the photographer with all kinds of threats. The circus is in town, and it’s performing at Ezweni Communications, of all places!
Episode 100 (1894) 27 February 06 :: Bradley has a sneaking suspicion he was hypnotized, but by whom and why? A shaken Busi’s incredulous when Karabo says she’s thinking of letting Anne stay on. Khaphela’s not impressed when Jason explains why he and Cleo get along so very well.

Episode 38 (1832) 01 December 2005: Jonathan’s nervous, yet really excited to being interviewed on Blind Date. Khaphela warns Khethiwe Tau’s relationship with his son Ditshego is private. Cleo has bad news for Busi about her golden-girl editor Dudu Kunene.
Episode 39 (1833) 02 December 2005: When someone gets bad-mouthed on Siphiwe’s show, there’s talk of legal action. A sweet-talking Dudu manages to make peace with a livid Busi. Tau tells Khethiwe how she can make their lives a whole lot less complicated.
Episode 40 (1834) 05 December 2005: Ntombi behaves outrageously when she overdoses on caffeine and an energy-boosting tonic. Bradley’s intrigued by the latest "game" rich guys around the country, are playing. When Jonathan proposes something drastic Tau’s against it, but Khethiwe backs him up.

Ngamla and Tau are back in business - the printing presses are up and running again! Anne’s shocked to hear Jack got a taste of his own medicine for a change. Cleo’s unimpressed when Khaphela’s jealousy gets out of hand.

Ntombi’s horrified when Ngamla admits he’d gladly pull the plug on a gravely ill Jack. Cleo’s sympathetic when Lumka admits she doesn’t love Siphiwe - not the way he loves her. Karabo feels totally helpless when Busi refuses to see the hypnotist Ntombi recommended.
Episode 43 (1837) 08 December 2005
A total stranger opens Ngamla’s eyes to the fact that Ntombi’s in love with him. Tau’s gentle side surfaces as he says a sad goodbye to Jonathan. Ngamla’s astonished when Jack actually has no idea who he is.
Episode 44 (1838) 09 December 2005 : Queen and Anne doing Nia dancing together? What an absolute nightmare! Jonathan, who keeps up a brave face, has a touching farewell gift for Angela. Bradley’s jaw drops to the floor when he gets introduced to Dudu.
Episode 45 (1839) 12 December 2005 : Karabo and Queen are dismayed when Busi announces that Anne will be her new PA. Ntombi’s unimpressed with Dudu’s plans to kill off the old Sista and create something new in its place. Ngamla waits anxiously for Lumka and Siphiwe to reveal the results of their visit to the eye specialist.
Episode 46 (1840) 13 December 2005 : Today Mr Bat’s heart-breaking talk-show deals with being a fool for love. Anne tells Jack hypnotism could be just what he needs to help regain his memory. It totally blows Siphiwe’s mind when a woman proposes to him.
Episode 47 (1841)13 December 2005 : Bradley’s peeved and humiliated about being stood up by Dudu. Ntombi warns Karabo that Busi’s nowhere near shaking off the hold Anne has over her. While Siphiwe and Lumka do eye exercises there’s a disturbing noise in the darkened house.
Episode 48 (1842) 14 December 2005 : Who is the Good Samaritan who has paid Jack’s hospital bills? There’s more bad news for Siphiwe after his run-in with a burglar. Tau’s becoming increasingly enthralled with his fascinating young daughter.
Episode 49 (1843) 15 December 2005 : Lumka refuses to budge when it comes to inviting a certain wedding guest. Things get out of hand when Khethiwe accuses Tau of exploiting Angela. Ntombi’s not sure she believes Ngamla when he sets the record straight about him and Dudu.

Tau wants Khethiwe to stay but it’s too late – Khaphela breaks the news that she’s gone job-hunting.Ngamla’s faced with a dilemma when he gets rewarded for an article Ntombi wrote. Cleo and Lumka set a trap and an unsuspecting thief walks straight into it.

Jack, who’s become a shadow of the man he once was, is unsure who his true friends are. Tau and Karabo’s relationship has lost none of that old magic.

With the cleansing ceremony coming up, Khethiwe has a few harsh words for Khaphela. Bradley realises if he wants the girl, he’ll have to take an interest in the things which interest her. Dudu won’t stand for Ntombi interfering or giving advice when it comes to Sista Magazine.

Episode 62 (1856) 02/01/06 Anne seethes when Karabo reveals she’s taking Busi to a place where Anne won’t find her. Cleo admits the thought of marrying Khaphela scares her witless. Ngamla’s all ears when Dudu tells him a secret she found out about Ntombi.
Episode 63 (1857) 03/01/06 That snake of a Jack must be up to something if he’s inviting Anne out to lunch. There’s a huge fight when Bradley accuses an unfeeling Dudu of seeking refuge in the fantasy world of movies. Cleo warns Queen when Anne’s unhappy she’s at her most dangerous.
Episode 64 (1858) 04/01/06 Jack realises some people have little use for him, now that he’s a reformed man. It’s a sad moment when Cleo tells Khaphela why their relationship is doomed to fail. Why would Anne close down Gloss if she worked so hard to get the editorship?
Episode 65 (1859) 05/01/06 With Karabo safely out of the picture, some backstabber’s wining and dining New Horizons clients. Angela’s caught in the middle when Tau and Khethiwe argue about how to raise her. It’s an uphill battle freeing Busi from Anne’s evil clutches, and rebuilding her life.
Episode 66 (1860) 06/01/06 Something Bradley mentions gives Ngamla a great idea for the gentlemen’s club. Dudu’s claws come out when Ngamla calls Ntombi the best example of what a magazine editor should be. Tau and Khaphela’s unselfish act bring tears to a grateful Khethiwe’s eyes.
Episode 67 (1861) 09/01/06: Tau’s caught wrong-footed when Khaphela gives him feedback on Jonathan. Queen shows surprising insight into why Cleo ended things with Khaphela. Dudu’s prepared to make a pact with the devil called Jack, if it means selling more magazines.
Episode 68 (1862) 10/01/06 Blabbermouth Dudu tells Bradley Ntombi’s deepest, darkest secret. Siphiwe’s on-air hypnotism campaign has good intentions, but negative spin-offs. Karabo literally discovers one of her clients in bed with the enemy.
Episode 69 (1863) 11/01/06Bradley tells a stubborn Ntombi how she can declare a truce with Dudu. Khaphela explains to Khethiwe why Jonathan’s latest decision is a mature albeit temporary one. A suspicious Ngamla wonders if the old Jack is really dead… or slowly surfacing again.
Episode 70 (1864) 12/01/06:Tau draws closer to his daughter in the hope of giving her a greater sense of security. Karabo’s astonished when Anne spites Cleo, who was once her dearest friend. When it comes to revamping Tsalanang, who’ll win the battle of wills – Karabo or Ngamla?

Episode 74 (1868) 18/01/06 Khethiwe, who’s in fighting mode, has managed to unite a whole army of helpers behind her. Dudu and Ntombi disagree in a very civilised and ladylike way, but how long before the claws come out again? Lumka’s frantic when it seems something awful has happened to Busi.
Episode 75 (1869) 19/01/06 Ntombi battles to understand Ngamla’s lack of emotion when his sister goes missing. If Jack remembers a romantic holiday in Mauritius, does that mean his memory’s back? Queen’s highly impressed when a gentlemanly Tau comes to Karabo’s rescue again.
Episode 76 (1870) 20/ 01/06Thank goodness Busi’s been found alive, but she’s far from okay. Lumka explains her feelings for Siphiwe – it’s clear she’s not marrying him for love. Jack shows that even his tender, caring side has a dark and vengeful edge to it.
Episode 77 (1871) 23/01/06 Cleo reminds Anne just how much she is to blame for the sorry state of Busi’s life. Tau, the hands-on dad, gives an embarrassed Tumi and Angela a serious talking-to. Will Dudu betray her new-found friendship with Jack by giving the police his head on a silver platter?
Episode 78 (1872) 24/01/06Tau can’t believe his ears – is Jack being sincere in offering his apology? Khethiwe shows that even though she’s a traditional and somewhat gullible girl, she’s nobody’s fool. Dudu explains to Bradley how Jack’s story can help further her dream career.
Episode 79 (1873) 25/01/06 : A touched Siphiwe’s bowled over by Lumka’s fabulous idea for their honeymoon. A coldly calculating Jack knows just how to get a confession out of Ngamla’s spy. There’s an icy stand-off as Ngamla comes to make amends with a suspicious Busi.
Episode 80 (1874)26/01/06 Karabo knows the only way to work with Anne, is to restrict her as far as is humanly possible. Tau loses his temper with Khethiwe when she neglects her duty towards Angela. When Lumka and her father have a huge fight, he threatens to boycott the wedding.
Episode 81 (1875) 27/01/06 : Siphiwe lies to his future father-in-law, in order to protect Lumka and restore the peace before their wedding. Will Khethiwe’s new business crash and burn before it’s even got off the ground? Someone offers Bradley a weird form of entertainment for the bachelor’s party he’s organising.
Episode 82 (1876) 30/01/06 : When the magician’s magic act goes wrong, Bradley’s life hangs in the balance. Lumka’s kitchen tea is an utterly humiliating experience – for all the wrong reasons. Khethiwe advises a frustrated Tau on how to really get through to Angela.
Episode 83 (1877) 31/01/06 : The groom is nervous, the bride is late – is this a typical wedding, or what? Lingo’s found out Bradley’s Anne’s weak spot and he’s not afraid to use that against her. Tau lays down some ground rules of his and Angela’s father/daughter relationship. |

Episode 255 (1789), 03 Oct 2005: Ntombi’s shocked when Sibusiso says Vuyo’s decided to settle in Grahamstown - permanently. Cleo gives Khethiwe a tiny sliver of hope when it comes to winning Tau’s affections. Karabo seriously doubts it, but Busi’s adamant she can help Jack change to become a better man.
Episode 256 (1790), 04 Oct 2005: Karabo stubbornly refuses to work with Jack, and sets Busi a very clear ultimatum. Queen’s ego is out of control when it comes to her status at Ezweni. When there’s a crisis at the radio station, Ntombi begs a nervous Siphiwe to help out.
Episode 257 (1791), 05 Oct 2005: Talk about sibling rivalry and fighting dirty! Busi and Sibusiso start slandering each other in the papers. People are on the edge of their seats as Siphiwe broadcasts live. Can he crack talk radio? A cunning Jack has a love-struck Busi exactly where he wants her.
Episode 258 (1792), 06 Oct 2005: Sibusiso’s not sure he can trust Jack, if the man’s talking about going into a partnership with Busi. Tau’s not happy about what he overhears when Khethiwe’s on the phone to Thenjiwe. Lumka’s horrified when she hears about a modelling contract Siphiwe’s been offered.
Episode 259 (1793), 07 Oct 2005: Lumka refuses to sign Siphiwe up with Ezweni if Jack Mabaso’s on board. Bradley’s disgusted when a spiteful Anne threatens to take back his house. Khaphela has devastating news about the wellbeing of his wife, Thenjiwe.
Episode 260 (1794), 10 Oct 2005: Siphiwe wonders why a criminal like Jack would want to work for Busi and Karabo. Queen’s obsession with keeping her voice smooth and silky, is working on everyone’s nerves. Vuyo and Lumka say sad goodbyes over the phone.
Episode 1 (1795), 11 Oct 2005: When Tau sets Karabo an ultimatum, it’s the ideal way to stop Jack from joining Ezweni. Siphiwe goes to turn himself in, but strangely enough he no longer has a criminal record. Khaphela’s torn between doing his duty, and being with the woman he loves.
Episode 2 (1796), 12 Oct 2005: Siphiwe uses drastic measures to stop Lumka from going on a spending spree. When Cleo gets devastating news, she blurts out that she’s not sorry about what happened at all. Karabo’s adamant she and Busi will make up their own minds on the Jack issue, but Tau’s not in the mood for games.
Episode 3 (1797), 13 Oct 2005: Queen’s convinced now that Khethiwe’s in the picture, Karabo wants Tau back. Jack reminds Busi that if the tape Tau has falls into the wrong hands, it’ll be tickets for him. Although it pains her deeply, Cleo makes a huge sacrifice when it comes to Khaphela.
Episode 4 (1798), 14 Oct 2005: Ntombi warns that Busi must ditch Jack, or she’s leaving and taking The Boozer Show with her. Tension erupts as Jack and Ngamla prepare to pull off a daring raid on New World Media. Karabo’s given in to pressure from Tau, but she’s also about to give in to a kiss…
Episode 5 (1799), 17 Oct 2005: Her fight with Karabo gets so ugly, that Busi threatens to contact her lawyer. Cleo’s shattered to think that she may never be with Khaphela again. Khethiwe’s shocked to hear that Karabo’s agreed to look after the kids in Tau’s absence.
Episode 6 (1800), 18 Oct 2005: Jack and Ngamla are celebrating a successful raid, when Jack gets disturbing news. There’s a shocking twist to Busi and Anne’s visit to a hypnotist… There’s mayhem when Bradley thinks he recognises the "cops" involved in the AFU bust.
Episode 7 (1801), 19 Oct 2005 :When Ntombi accuses Anne of taking over Busi’s life, Karabo has a hard time keeping the peace. Tau’s suspicious when Ngamla generously offers to help catch the culprits behind the raid. Queen’s frantic when her voice mysteriously becomes little more than a faint croak.
Episode 8 (1802), 20 Oct 2005 :Karabo and Busi finally declare a truce and share their impressive plans for Ezweni. Tau warns Ngamla he broke the rules – the ad industry won’t forgive him for that. Ntombi’s touched when Jonathan confesses he’d prefer her, not Karabo, to baby-sit them.
Episode 9 (1803), 21 Oct 2005 :Tau’s puzzled when Khaphela says Khethiwe refuses to come back to Gauteng. Bradley’s rattled when he gets an unmistakable warning from Jack Mabaso. After a girls’ night out, a babelaas Cleo makes a heart-breaking confession to Lumka.
Episode 10 (1804), 24 Oct 2005: Khethiwe’s flattered when Tau calls to say he – and the children – want her to come home. Lumka and Siphiwe are torn about signing with Ezweni when they overhear Busi and Karabo arguing. Tau asks Bradley’s help to bring down Jack, knowing that it’ll mean taking a trip into hell.
Episode 11 (1805) 25 Oct 2005: A desperate Ngamla uses one of Ntombi’s articles and – would you believe it - takes credit for it. Bradley’s on good terms with Busi, and Queen doesn’t like it one bit. Tau gets an anonymous phone call, offering him first option on the goods stolen during the raid.
Episode 12 (1806) 26 Oct 2005: Why is everyone lying to Lumka, who’s desperate to know what happened to her mother? Karabo has to cover like crazy when Ntombi wonders if she still has feelings for Tau. Anne’s shocked when Busi reveals who was responsible for her parents’ death.
Episode 13 (1807) 27 Oct 2005 : Jonathan and Thumi get up to mischief, but they’ll pay dearly for their disobedience. Ngamla’s spreading nasty rumours about Busi’s involvement in the New World Media raid. Queen’s torn between staying loyal to Karabo, or saying accepting a glamorous job in Cape Town.
Episode 14 (1808) 28 Oct 2005: Karabo’s tongue-tied when Angela asks why her romance with Tau didn’t work out. Anne should watch her step – Ngamla doesn’t appreciate people digging in his past. An emotional Lumka begs Busi for her mother’s phone number.
Episode 15 (1809) 31 Oct 2005 : The women are getting very suspicious about the strange hold Anne has over Busi. A clever, cunning Anne manages to get Busi to buy her a really expensive gift. It’s payback time - those rumours a spiteful Ngamla spread, have boomeranged on him. |

We find out who’s behind the anonymous phone calls to Cleo and Bradley. Angela’s upset that her teacher confiscated her ankle chain, but Jonathan gloats about it. To Tau’s dismay, Dr Wilson’s cleverly managed to erase all evidence against Jack.

Could it be that there’s a whole new career in talk radio, waiting for Queen? Busi’s intrigued to find out Tau’s sold the shares she wanted to buy from him. Despite Ntombi’s warnings, Bradley insists on doing his duty towards an unstable Anne.

Tau’s hot on the heels of the villain who’s ripping off buyers with watered-down wine. Ngamla plays his trump card to blackmail Jack into calling off the hit on Randy and Siphiwe. Busi’s sleepwalking takes a dangerous turn.

Cleo explains to Khethiwe why she can never be a true wife to Khaphela. Vuyo’s utterly relieved to hear about Siphiwe and Randy’s miraculous escape. A vengeful Lumka sets up the evil Dr Wilson, but is she clever enough to trap her?

Is Sibusiso being serious when he accuses his sister of having killed their parents? There’s an out-of-the-blue marriage proposal from an unlikely source. Let’s see if Siphiwe’s disguise manages to fool anyone.

Lumka spells out why it’s so important for Vuyo to be manager of The Hit Factory. Jonathan’s got detention for a week – what did he do wrong this time? Dr Wilson’s by a sleeping Jack’s bedside, and she’s not there to wish him pleasant dreams.

In a shocking turn-around Ntombi gives a DJ job to Siphiwe, not Vuyo. A traumatised Busi blames a furious Sibusiso for the death of their parents. Cleo makes the utlimate sacrifice so Khaphela can be with Thenjiwe.

Sibusiso gives a pleased Vuyo a job, but it’s far from what he expected. When Bradley’s new surname is revealed there’s general laughter. A grim Anne speculates about what could happen to Jack if his wound’s not treated.

Queen’s leaving the country, but is she serious about not coming back? Khethiwe’s subconscious reveals that she has big plans for her and Tau. Cleo and Karabo discuss why women keep loving men who are no good for them.

Cleo thinks she knows what’s behind Angela’s unexplained fainting spells. Everyone’s shocked when Queen announces she overheard Anne plotting to get Jack killed. Vuyo bamboozles Ntombi into getting him a job at Ezweni.

A shaken Jonathan refuses to tell Khethiwe what name Angela’s been crying out in her sleep. Everyone’s horrified by the terrible price Jack had to pay for disappointing local crime lords. Out of the blue, Lolo announces to a heart-broken Lumka that he’s returning to the USA.

As per Ngamla’s instructions Vuyo’s infiltrating Ezweni, but a suspicious Karabo’s onto him. Ngamla is powerless to stop himself from alienating his daughter and his sister. Ntombi’s unsettled by Anne’s weirdly possessive nature.

Typical - while everyone’s desperately looking for Vuyo, he’s chatting up a babe! Ngamla tempts Jack Mabaso with a top secret scheme which he promises will make them super-powerful. There’s panic in the Mogale household when Angela’s tormented by the spirit world.

Is it possible that Anne’s really found a way to cure Busi’s sleepwalking? Vuyo’s fervent appeal to the ancestors has the desired effect, and Angela’s saved. Karabo takes note of the close bond which is forming between Khethiwe and Tau.

When Busi hints at giving Anne the job of receptionist, a miffed Queen acts to protect her turf. The break-up between Lumka and Lolo is a painful event.
