It is a drama that explores the lives of the mining community as they try to make sense of and survive the challenges facing the New South Africa. Their desperate fight to ensure a future for the marginalised mine is pivotal to the story. Industrial espionage, fraud, faction fights, murder, racism and romance are all part and parcel of life on the mine. |

Episode 1841 – 01 Sep 06Rajesh decides to collaborate in the investigation into Barker Haines, on the condition that Lee is made exempt from prosecution. Zebedee Matabane sees a light at the end of a dark tunnel. Tim discovers that a second lady of a certain age is eager to step into shoes vacated by Natasha.
Episode 1842 – 04 Sep 06Rajesh grows impatient with the burden of maintaining the cover of the spy in the house of ON! Parsons rides high on a killing on the stock exchange, and decides to leverage earnings on the investments of his acquaintances. Frank and Natasha shift into a higher gear.
Episode 1843 –05 Sep 06Rajesh Kumar authorizes Alec Mathews to investigate the role of Barker Haines in the strange collapse of the Electra Dam project. Parsons commits to his contact at the stock exchange and his father, already in financial jeopardy, becomes involved. Frank and Natasha edge closer together.
Episode 1844 – 06 Sep 06Alec’s double game is clouding his judgment, but besides Leone Haines, it becomes clear that both Harriet and Tommy McCullen are part of his investigation. Parsons discovers that investing the stock exchange sometimes carries a certain amount of risk. Natasha’s daughter teases her about the exact nature of her relationship with Frank Xavier.
Episode 1845 – 07 Sep 06It appears that Zebedee Matabane has been building castles in the sky, and is in danger of both financial and physical disaster. Harriet is eager to solve the mystery of Johan Smit’s shooting, and as a result, the ON! TV executives realize the extent to which they have been manipulated by Barker Haines.
Episode 1846 – 08 Sep 06Disaster has trapped three men in a cul de sac called death. Vusi Moletsane puts on the hero’s coat and does battle with the awesome force of nature. Frank Xavier gets Lolly and a news team out to cover the drama at Horizon Deep. Zebedee Matabane, himself severely injured, learns what it is to have a friend die in your arms.
Episode 1847 – 11 Sep 06Zeb Matabane slips in and out of consciousness as Vusi leads the team in a monumental battle against the forces of nature. Eventually they overcome the flames, but are horrified by what awaits them when they finally clear the blocked access shaft.
Episode 1848 – 12 Sep 06Zeb and Agnes Matabane realize that Zeb’s medical condition is compromised and their troubles are only just beginning. Rajesh Kumar begins a long battle with the demons of jealousy. Frank assures Natasha that seduction is the very last thing on his mind at the moment.
Episode 1849 – 13 Sep 06Zeb can’t come to terms with the imponderable truth behind his unusual medical condition. Alec Mathews delves deeper into Barker’s dark criminal past and the disappearance of Siyanda Mazibuko. Lee tells Frank he may have to pass on some very bad news in relation to Natasha’s show.

Agnes Matabane tries to contact Zachariah Manamela and arrives at a suspicion that Zeb’s physical condition is just the tip of an iceberg of woe. Alec Mathews begins to draw Harriet into the net, which he hopes will finally capture Barker Haines and bring him to judgment. The future of Natasha’s sponsor-less show hangs in the balance.
Episode 1851 – 15 Sep 06Agnes becomes very worried that she cannot contact Zachariah Manamela or, in fact, ascertain whether he deposited the Matabane money in the trust fund. Lee reassures Rajesh about her relationship with Alec. Frank has to confront Natasha with some grim news about her professional future.

Agnes Matabane learns that Zachariah has probably disappeared, but decides to keep the terrible secret from her ailing husband. Harriet approaches Barker Haines to see if she can get her old job back. Natasha tries to come to terms with losing her show, and decides to go to Durban with Nikki to see her mother.
Episode 1853 – 19 Sep 06
Harriet phones Alec in a fit of panic, telling him she is not up to the task of spying on Barker Haines. Lee finds Alec difficult to ignore. Zebedee Matabane is frightened of going back under ground, and Agnes can’t find the courage to reveal her bad news. Lolly discovers she may be in line for an Irish adventure.
Episode 1854 – 20 Sep 06
Lee and Alec play a game of cat and mouse in a maze where all paths lead only to lust. Lolly learns that she is the owner of an estate in Ireland, and is further shocked when Maggie suggests she accompany her on the journey of inspection. Zeb, fragile and emotional, returns home, and his family cannot tell him the terrible truth.

Lee Haines knows that she has taken a terrible risk, and struggle under the burden of her guilt about Rajesh. The Buller residents speculate about the nature of Lolly’s inheritance. Zeb tells Agnes he’s finding it difficult to replace Beans as his supervisor, but he tells Vusi, who comes to visit, that there’ll be no problem.
Episode 1856 – 22 Sep 06Zebedee Matabane learns that his suffering, like Job’s, is only just beginning. Lee Haines plays both ends against the middle in matters of the heart and continues on the path of betrayal. Frank is astonished at the behaviour of his protégé, and Lolly finds herself burning bridges.
Episode 1857 – 25 Sep 06Rajesh Kumar challenges Alec Mathews to tell Lee the real nature of his work. When Alec refuses, Rajesh takes physical action. Zeb struggles to come to terms with his situation, and refuses to tell his doctor his innermost fears. Maggie’s journey takes an unexpected detour.
Episode 1858 – 26 Sep 06Lee is horrified to learn that Rajesh knows about her having sex with Alec. Maggie is strip searched in a crime bust at an International Airport. It is Paul’s first day presenting LiveTime.
Episode 1859 – 27 Sep 06Zebedee Matabane begins to contemplate a final solution. Maggie Webster finds herself alone and lost in a strange land, with no passport or money. Lee tries to convince Rajesh that they can pick up the pieces. Alec and Saul agree that Tommy McCullum is the key to the Barker Haines conundrum.
Episode 1860 – 28 Sep 06Lee suggests that she and Rajesh go into counselling, but Rajesh wants some time apart from her. Alec continues to conceal his emotional involvement with the subject of his investigation. Lolly comes into her inheritance, and its rather dishy executor. Vusi decides to interrogate Zeb’s readiness for the shaft pillar project. |

Episode 1797 03 JULY 06 Lee’s relationship with her mother develops, but she is shocked and disturbed by a surprise visit from her father. Letti’s sudden bounce back to happiness alarms Agnes. Vusi suggests Rob apply for the job of Mine Manager. Stella interprets Vleis’ possessiveness as a sign of passion.
Episode1798 04 JULY 06 Barker ask Harriet to do some spying, but Harriet ends up unable to fulfil her task. Letti goes on a rather dubious shopping spree, and Nandipha discovers a hint of what is going on. Vleis tries to apologize to Rob, but it goes horribly wrong.
Episode1799 05 JULY 06There is high drama at the Horizon Deep Rec Club as Vleis and Rob square up to each other. Letti breaks down inexplicably in the middle of a news broadcast and is replaced by Lolly. Lee discovers, that her mother is penniless.
Episode 1800 06 JULY 06Lee takes aim at her father and starts the process of recovering the funds that he stole from her mother. Letti gets a warning at work, and reacts by fighting with Vusi Moletsane. Stella weighs the consequences of her champion’s short fuse, but Maggie suspects that she is secretly pleased with Vleis’ macho antics.
Episode1801 07 JULY 06Letti Matabane obeys an irrational compulsion and ends up in deep trouble. Zeb and Agnes get worrying news about their daughter. Anthea shocks Lee with her sudden assertiveness. Batsi tells Lee that the way to get Anthea’s money back is to lay charges against Barker.
Episode 1802 10 JULY 06
Barker Haines has a response to the charges of theft that is a surprise to all concerned. Letti is released on bail. Stella, keen to have attractive company at Papa G’s, makes a proposition to a reluctant Tim. Frank is furious with Letti for not pitching for the news broadcast and gives her an official verbal warning.
Episode1803 11 JULY 06Orlando finds out that accompanying Anthea to therapy has become part of his job description. Letti discovers an ally that she would rather do without, but it doesn’t stop the man carrying out his threat. Maggie learns that Stella has been preying on her charge.
Episode 1804 12 JULY 06Anthea goes for therapy, while her daughter consults a lawyer about seeking to overturn Barker’s custodianship of Anthea’s estate. Bra Fox, after a second visit to the scene of the crime, returns with interesting news for Letti Matabane. Tim falls head over heels for an older woman.

Anthea is shocked at Barker’s behavior and, informs Lee that they must be nice to him. Rajesh Kumar gets a hint that there are deeper, and more troubled, waters beneath Lee Haines’ beautiful surface. Letti gets scary advice from Steve and then receives an advance from an extremely inappropriate male. Tim tries to negotiate a career in show business with Papa G.
Episode1806 14 JULY 06Barker Haines tries a new strategy and, his ex-wife warms up to him in the old way. Letti lies about the excitements of her social life, but Parsons and Nandipha are unconvinced. Tim invites the lady to come and watch him perform, but is too shy and gauche to take advantage of the opportunity.
Episode 1807 17 JULY 06Anthea is intrigued by her ex-husband, and Orlando, questioning her, discovers that she seems to bear no grudge at all. Letti reveals to Nandipha that she is dating a dangerous and exciting man. Tim, in spite of Len Cooper’s warnings, is delighted when the lady he fancies asks for a meeting.
Episode 1808 18 JULY 06Barker Haines starts drawing Lee’s mother into his dangerous web. Lee is horrified to find out that Barker is manipulating Anthea into liking him again. Letti’s family learn about her latest uncharacteristic behaviour. Tim is disappointed when he finds out what Mrs Wallace actually wants.
Episode 1809 19 JULY 06Barker takes his ex-wife out for a picnic and suggests to her that she reassume control over her financial affairs. Zeb realizes that Letti’s criminal friend might be the invisible hand who prompted Mrs. Pillay to drop the shop lifting charges. Stella feels that, as she introduced Tim to Natasha Wallace, she should be his manager.
Episode 1810 20 JULY 06Lee and Rajesh talk about Anthea’s financial status, and, to their mutual surprise, discover that old magic all over again. Letti gains interesting information about her criminal boyfriend, but chooses to ignore it. Tim meets with Natasha and is disappointed by the businesslike atmosphere.

Lee gives her mother an idea of exactly how evil Barker can be, and Anthea begins to manipulate the great manipulator. Zeb gives Letti an ultimatum, but she chooses to follow the criminal, not the father. Tim is struggling to convince his band of the importance of the TV audition.
Episode 1812 24 JULY 06Letti Matabane, on the run, reveals just what a complicated game she has been playing with herself and her family and her lover. Anthea’s party goes ahead, and Barker Haines, despite himself, obeys his hostess’ command. The intended result is not forthcoming, as Lee and Rajesh find themselves in murky water.
Episode 1813 25 JULY 06Barker slips past Lee’s guard and makes an essential connection with Anthea. Rajesh and Lee find themselves is a similar position, but are interrupted by family matters. Letti cut off from her family, finds herself alone with a man who is demanding sex. Tim and the Wattles audition for Natasha Wallace’s show.

An ebullient Anthea returns from her court appearance to dine with Barker at home. Letti is torn between a very sincere fear and a violent sexual attraction to her criminal boy friend. Tim and the Wattles take the first small step toward international fame and stardom.

Bra Fox is in the mood for a little erotic cabaret, and uses a loaded pistol to press home the urgency of his desire. Vusi Moletsane and George Zamdela put on their suits of shining armour, and ride to save the maiden. Barker Haines, for the third time in his life, finds himself asking for a lady’s hand in marriage.
Episode 1816 28 JULY 06Barker Haines is astonished to find himself both a fiancé and, after receiving an unexpected guest, a father. Letti comes home for a night, but her parents are in for further disappointment. Tim, in the attempt to try and get to know his crush better, learns about her obsession with Johnny Clegg, which leaves him feeling more than a little jealous.
Episode 1817 31 JULY 06Vusi Moletsane receives a death threat, but it takes George Zamdela and Sluleka Li to convince him to take it seriously. Lee Haines hears news of a new and unexpected blood relation in her life. Tim’s band gigs live on TV, and his interview with Natasha Wallace goes well.

Episode 1818 01 AUGUST 06
The Fox comes to visit Horizon Deep, and various chickens are likely to come home to roost. Lee Haines, her father’s daughter, conceives of a manipulative plan to influence her mother. Mrs. Wallace tells Tim that she was sufficiently impressed to want to offer The Wattles a permanent contract to perform.
Episode 1819 02 AUGUST 06
The mineworker’s union reacts angrily to news of the proposed closure of Horizon Deep. The Fox sets his sights on the chicken and corners his bird at ON! TV. Kimberley approaches Cherel and they plot to make Barker pay. Mrs Wallace realizes she is the object of a young man’s affections.
Episode 1820 03 AUGUST 06Vusi Moletsane finds himself staring down the barrel of a gun in a very public situation. Kimberley is urged to have a DNA test, which might abort her baby, in order to secure the future of the very same baby. Tim, urged on by Natasha, invests in some new gear, but Len Cooper is unimpressed.
Episode 1821 04 AUGUST 06The conflict between Vusi Moletsane and Bra Fox devolves into an act of stark and brutal violence. Lee Haines agrees to provide the DNA material, which will prove if she has a new sibling to replace Duncan. Letti apologizes to her mother, who urges her to go for counselling. Letti, however, is more interested in Vusi Moletsane’s counsel.
Episode 1822 07 AUGUST 06Vusi Moletsane is surprised to find himself, for the second time, offered the job of mine manager of Horizon Deep. Letti learns from inspector Niemand that the police are fully aware of the role Bra Fox played in "persuading" Mrs. Pillay to drop charges of shop lifting. Rajesh is angry to learn that Kimberley’s baby had been put at risk in the cause of television.
Episode 1823 08 AUGUST 06Nandipha hears from Agnes that Letti is planning to drop the rape charge against Bra Fox. DNA evidence proves conclusively that Barker Haines is the father of Kimberley’s child. Lee makes a date with Anthea to watch Cherel’s show about Barker on TV. Steve tells Paul he intends moving back to Horizon Deep.
Episode 1824 09 AUGUST 06Vusi Moletsane has to make a crucial speech but is convinced he has managed to alienate his audience. Barker Haines decides that the best method of defence is attack, and Cherel finds herself floundering before an audience of thousands.
Episode 1825 10 AUGUST 06The community of Horizon Deep receives grim new and braces itself for a bleak future. Lee struggles to understand her mother’s reaction to the news that Barker is genuinely going to father a child. Vusi Moletsane assumes the mantle of responsibility, and is deeply shocked by the community’s reaction to his appointment.
Episode 1826 11 AUGUST 06Zakes Mhlongo takes the Horizon Deep management to task about the shaft pillar extraction and he and Vusi find themselves at loggerheads. Anthea pays her ex husband a visit, and he is surprised by the steel in her eyes. Steve gets a letter from Cape Town that brings news of a tantalizing possibility.

Vusi Moletsane, silent upon a peak in Darien, bets his all on a wild surmise. Lee struggles to come to terms with her role in her mother’s unhappy refusal of Barker Haines. Steve and Paul decide to talk about the problems of their relationship, and Steve is left feeling greatly relieved.
Episode 1828 15 AUGUST 06Letti Matabane is worried that Vusi, struggling to deal with the crises of his new job, will not have time for her. Vusi goes head to head with Zakes Mhlongo, and, after violent argument, they begin to see light at the end of the tunnel. After hours of memories and shared stories, Anthea finally begins to ask the question: am I in danger from the man I love?

Agnes and Zeb Matabane anxiously contemplate a future without the mine kitchens and Secure Hanging Walls to support them. Tim gets a fashion make over from Natasha and her manner leads him to believe he night be in with a chance. Steve wants to take some time out and go away with Paul for a weekend.

Vusi wrestles with his conscience, trying to work out whether he is the independent manager of Horizon Deep, or the bosses’ lackey? Steve learns that his uncle has dispatched a chef to consult with him about the proposed cooking show. Tim reveals the full extent of his romantic powers.

Vusi Moletsane’s name is brought into disrepute on public television and Zakes and the union decide on a radical course of action. Tim struggles with the demons of love: what to do when a lady laughs at your most serious of approaches. Steve Stethakis finds himself strangely charmed by his uncle’s emissary from Cape Town.
Episode 1832 21 AUGUST 06Cherel uncovers a potentially embarrassing fact about Vusi’s compensation agreement with Horizon Deep. Tim discovers, to his surprise, that poetry can chart the true course to a lady’s heart. Luke and the cooking show are causing further complications in Steve’s life.
Episode 1833 – 22 AUGUST 06The Witch goes to work on her audience, and Derek and Vusi’s reputations take a serious battering. Tim, despite Len’s teasing, pushes forward his romantic agenda. Steve gets a surprise about Luke’s sexual orientation, and Luke learns that he has to make a pilot show.
Episode 1834 – 23 AUGUST 06An accident happens underground, and Earnest immediately thinks of sabotage. Vusi Moletsane implements a radical new course of action with regard to the union. Steve gets news of an amazing opportunity in Cape Town, and Paul is less than delighted. Tim meets with Natasha, and considers moving things to the more exciting physical plane.
Episode 1835 – 24 AUGUST 06Anthea learns how Barker’s mercenaries killed innocent people in San Fernando. Lee, desperate to convince her mother about Barker’s true nature, reveals crimes of her own. Vusi struggles to broker an agreement between Zakes and Earnest. Cherel decides that Letti Matabane might be an interesting subject for a show.
Episode 1836 – 25 AUGUST 06
Vusi Moletsane discovers that there are people on Horizon Deep who are prepared to take physical action to back up their disgust at his enrichment. Lee, having told her mother that she was complicit in coup and murder, wonders whether she should tell her lover. Tim, while ascending physically, takes an action, which causes his heart to plummet.
Episode 1837 – 28 AIGUST 06
Vusi Moletsane discovers that he has a lot of time on his hands to reflect on the situation that he has been led into. Orlando gains crucial information about the involvement of Barker Haines in the murderous coup in San Fernando. Natasha informs Frank of further events in the house of love.
Episode 1838 – 29 AUGUST 06Vusi takes stock and questions whether he should stay on as mine manager, and receives a threatening message from the Witch. The truth comes between Lee and Rajesh, while Orlando confronts his own version of that elusive entity. Tim has to deal with a broken heart and a mocking world.
Episode 1839 – 30 AUGUST 06
Letti Matabane is horrified to learn that Vusi, straight out of hospital, is considering going into the witch’s den. Rajesh is keen to know why Lee did not intervene in her father’s murderous incursion into a foreign and independent state. Natasha and Tim finally reach the end of a long and winding road.

Cherel is horrified when the outcome she has engineered for the live TV debate on the situation at Horizon Deep disappears like water through a sieve. Rajesh Kumar is approached by an Intelligence agent who is investigating various crimes involving Mr. Barker Haines. Tim explains to Maggie that he has learnt a lesson in the art of timing. |

Episode 1775 01/06/06Rajesh does his best to defend Frank’s handling of the hostage situation. ON!TV discover that they might face expensive litigation as a result of their sloppy security systems. Paul discovers that Erin has further skeletons in her closet. Rajesh has a surprising meeting with a barman called Mick.
Episode 1776 02/06/06Cherel goes live on ON!TV, and Barker Haines and his daughter are less than gruntled. Barker plans to buy the shares he convinced Haines international to sell, and then deposit them to the account of one A.C. Evans. Cherel makes an enormously powerful impression on Frank and South Africa at large.
Episode 1777 05/06/06Barker learns from Siyanda that he has succeeded in buying a huge block of ON!TV shares, and instructs someone in Cape Town to get Anthea ready for a visit. The world’s in awe of Cherel’s masterful television performance. Rajesh confronts Erin with the knowledge that he’s aware of her history with the barman.
Episode 1778 06/06/06Barker visits an old connection in Cape Town, and, after a difficult game of chess, gets the lady to sign a legal document. Cherel proposes a new television talk show which will feature the lady herself as South Africa’s own Oprah. The deadline approaches for Erin to hand herself over to the police.
Episode 1779 07/06/06Siyanda is shocked and disturbed to find out exactly who A.C. Evans is. Sister Isaacs is worried about Anthea’s medication. Cherel decides that a sponsor is the key to getting her chat show idea up and running. Paul gets a call from Erin and finds out what her destination is.
Episode 1780 08/06/06 Siyanda travels to Cape Town on a quest for the truth and finds herself fact to face with the evil nature of the man she has done so much to help. Lee is appalled when Donald Parks tells her that any package that does not include Cherel’s show, is not attractive to him. Niemand gets heavy with Paul and Steve.
Episode 1781 09/06/06Barker Haines has to work hard to convince his spy in the house of ON! of his sincerity. Lee learns that Rajesh and Frank see eye to eye with Donald Parks on a very divisive issue. Stella has a big surprise for Maggie, Tim and her husband Reg.
Episode 1782 12/06/06 Barker loses then gains an ally, while Siyanda sweats, still unable to come clean with Lee. Sbu, Barker ‘s companion in jail gets wind of an interesting and rewarding assignment. Cherel has Rajesh, Frank and Lee, firmly on the back foot. Stella fights not to fall apart, but receives manly comfort from Rob Turner.
Episode 1783 13/06/06
Barker hires Sbu to take care of a problem and a security guard is dismembered in a car park. Anthea remembers that her visitor has not come through with the promised chess board. Cherel wants a favour from Frank before she’ll sign the deal. Maggie is desperately looking for accommodation for Stella.
Episode 1784 14/06/06Siyanda is nowhere to be found and the wrong body is pulled out of the wreckage.. Cherel agrees to the terms of the contract, but she still has one up on Frank and Rajesh. Stella finds herself a flat.
Episode 1785 15/06/06
The staff of NO!TV react to the explosion. There is pandemonium in the foyer and Rajesh has to calm the situation down. Barker likes Sbu’s work. Lee is in a state about the phone call Siyanda made to her. Stella tells Tim and Maggie she’s found a flat, they are astonished when they realize where it is
Episode 1786 16/16/06
Lee receives a disturbing email that may change her life forever. Cherel drops a bombshell about the subject of her show and is at loggerheads with Paul. A new man comes to town with a surprise for Maggie and Agnes.
Episode 1787 17/06/06Lee goes to the AML Clinic to find Sister Isaacs, but comes face to face with Doctor Liebenberg instead. After hard work from Cherel, Thandeka begins to relent, and the two women make a deal which allows them to go forward. Stella, ensconced in the flat of tragedy and death, throws a party and is oblivious to anyone else’s issues.
Episode1788 19/06/06Sister Isaacs shows Lee some photographs of Anthea with a young girl. Thandeka gets some good footage of the harsh life inside of prison. Derek tells Stella he has a job for Vusi - but it is not necessarily what Vusi was hoping for.
Episode1789 20/06/06Barker informs Lee that her mother has Asperger’s Disorder, and it might be genetic. Derek introduces Vusi to Rob Turner and the board. Cherel’s pilot show goes out live, and the response is overwhelming.
Episode 1790 21/06/06Lee learns exactly how her mother was admitted to the AML Clinic, and is pushed to make a decision. Vusi has his own decision to make, which affects his future. Stella admits she has been riding a roller coaster, a revelation which Maggie finds disgusting.
Episode 1791 22/06/06Lee Haines decides to take responsibility for her mother’s freedom. Stella has, Len and Tim are certain, at last found the man. Vusi tells Derek that he fears that the job of closing the mine down is unnecessary and dangerous.
Episode1792 23/06/06Lee feels overwhelmed and frightened, not just about the difficulties of freeing her mother, but by the task of looking after her afterwards. Vusi is made and offer, but surprises those who make it, when he speaks his mind. Stella is peeved with Maggie for laughing at her and Vleis.
Episode1793 26/06/06Lee tries to sneak into the clinic, but things go awry, and she has to confront the authorities. Vusi, plays a game of pool with Derek, and is forced to realize what will happen to the community if he doesn’t take on the Mine Manager job. Erin holds her ground and tells Lee that Rajesh knew about Barker’s interview and that he knew Barker didn’t want to tell Lee. Niemand tells du Plessis that Tanya’s cooking is the worst he’s encountered. Leon, he says, should get her some help. Before someone gets injured.

Later, at the first book club meeting, Steve apologises to Tanya for snapping at her other day, and they make a truce. Thandeka leaves jail and later is seen trying to track down Cherel. She is pointed in the direction of her seedy lodgings. |

Episode 1647 06/12/05Lee and Rajesh meet with Khalo in an attempt to advise him on interpersonal skills, but the result is not at all what they had hoped. Nandipha tries to persuade an unaccountably recalcitrant Parsons that they need to acquire a home of their own. Tim’s band, The Wattles, impresses all who hear it.
Episode 1648 07/12/05Khalo is fired very suddenly, causing alarm and panic at ON!TV, and Barker Haines makes an interesting suggestion for his replacement as Head of News. Letti learns that Vusi and Fumi had breakfast together at The Rec. Tim gives Maggie bad news about the band, and Maggie has to make a deal with Len.

Lee complicates an romantic dinner when she informs Rajesh that they must spend some time away luring Mr Frank Xavier to ON!TV. Vusi puts his best kit on for his interview. Maggie and Agnes are devastated to find that there is a problem with the sound system promised by Len Cooper.
Episode 1651 12/12/05Frank Xavier is revealed to be very at home in the bushveld, and well equipped to delay pressing business. Parsons is shocked and Letti saddened when Vusi Moletsane announces he’s leaving for KZN to consider his future. Agnes finally comes face to face with the Sandwich Lady.

Frank plays hard to get, and when Lee and Rajesh finally meet with him he makes a demand that is very difficult to fulfil. Erin is nervous about Paul’s release, and her emotions are compounded by Rajesh’s coolness on the phone. Agnes sticks to her guns, while privately wracked with guilt.
Episode 1653 14/12/05 Lee makes what could be the worst decision of her career when regarding Frank Xavier. Rajesh realises that Erin is very wrapped up her brother’s problems,. Tim takes up the cause of the Sandwich Lady, and loses his job as a result.

Zeb reacts badly when he realizes to what lengths Vusi Moletsane will go to clear his conscience in the matter of Florence’s house. The girls on LiveTime fall prey to a swarm of telephone perverts as they receive disturbing calls from complete strangers. Letti and Vusi tell their friends that their time in Mapungubwe will be completely platonic. Tim admits to Steve that he suspects Stella might be seriously attracted to him.

Lolly thinks that she was followed to work. Rajesh wants Vernon investigate the obscene phone call to Erin. Nandipha gets a shocking note in Papa G. Erin tells Rajesh to take down the Webcams. Vusi and Letti leave for their trip. Agnes recruits Tim and Maggie to fight the sandwich lady.

The police take Erin in for questioning regarding the assault of an innocent man. Lolly volunteers to be used as bait while. Agnes is not impressed when Tilly tells her the church choir has decided to enter a competition.

Lolly and the rest of the women come face to face with the stalker and confront him despite Vernon's objections. Letti is charmed by a young man’s attentions and Vusi feels a little left out. Maggie suspects Tim of working for the enemy in the matter of the industrial espionage.

ON!TV learns that the feed from the LiveTime website has been rerouted to an illegal website, and the girls discover that the images will remain in the public domain. Letti and Vusi experience the call of the wild in Mapungubwe. Tilly starts to understand that she’s stepping on Agnes’ turf.

Erin thinks up a great strategy to trace the identity of the stalker who is making life in the LiveTime office a misery. Mrs Agnes Matabane is very interested to know exactly what happened in the cottage in Mapungubwe. She is also very upset by what she sees as her displacement within the choir.

Erin is horrified to learn that her enemy is still at large and now means to confront her on a much more intimate level. Derek and Vusi have a heated exchange over cultural issues and Parsons is a little surprised by Vusi’s hard-line attitude. Ma Agnes’ plans to manipulate the choir go very awry.

Episode 1603 05/10//05Len and Leon du Plessis finally confront the differences between them with dreadful results. Erin’s brother disappears in the wild random action of a Joburg night. Maggie demonstrates that her psychological skills are in better shape than her brick laying.

Leon du Plessis informs Niemand that witch is set on flight and they had better get a warrant of arrest before her broomstick departs. Rajesh tries to comfort Erin about Paul’s disappearance, but when Paul pitches up, all Erin’s worst fears are confirmed.

Episode 1616 24/10/05The LiveTime web cams are launched and it doesn’t take long for the girls to forget the scrutiny. Barker, makes sure to publicize his sponsorship of Tanya’s wedding. Letti Matabane learns interesting news about Dumisani and Bob Marley’s grand daughter.
Episode 1617 25/10/05Cherel plots on, unaware that her only ally is turning into her most dangerous enemy. Vusi Moletsane struggles with the implications of his calling and begins to wonder if it is possible to be a prophet and run a mine. The fight between Lolly and Letti has been very good for ratings and Len is interested in provoking further drama.
Episode 1618 26/10/05Cherel is informed by the hotel manager that there seems to be a problem with her credit card. A board member hints to Vusi that his application is on the short list, and he agrees to take it easy on the prophecy. Letti’s media strategies have been paying off and she and Len enjoy her fan mail.
Episode 1619 27/10/05Cherel’s lawyer, Karlize, is keen to know why Cherel gave power of attorney to Boet Viljoen in the first place. Vusi and Parsons brainstorm a new name and brand for Deep Gold. Maggie discovers that Niemand forgot to organize a stag party for Leon du Plessis, and decides to do it herself.
Episode 1620 28/10/05Stella, despite keeping her clothes on, performes a great cabaret act. Cherel puts pressure on Len to stop the marriage. Letti, hoping to engineer things so that Neo can see his father, asks Barker to allow Dumisani into the country. Zeb and Parsons find out about Tilly’s move to Klerksdorp.

Du Plessis clashes with Len and then tells Len that he and Tanya are seeing each other again. Erin confronts Len Cooper and eventually the identity of her male friend is revealed.
Episode 1583 07 Sept /05Leon du Plessis asks Niemand for copy of the docket referring to Cherel’s acquittal in the killing of Slang Bornman. Erin shouts at a puzzled Steve for letting her brother Paul into the office. Len puts Maggie off the idea of animal prints.
Episode 1584 08 Sept /05Barker despairs after du Plessis explains his theory that Vusi’s dream of a snake in the Deep Gold office is a clue pointing to "Slang" Bornman. Erin and Rajesh fall out, and Rajesh has a sighting of the man he believes is Erin’s lover. Maggie gets herself in a knot with Frans the builder.

Lee is pleased that there seems to be a new lead in the Cherel case, but Barker thinks it is crazy to base anything on the dreams of platteland Geologist. Rajesh Kumar discovers the truth about Erin’s lover. Frans flatters Maggie, and she finds herself unable to tell him that she cannot be the building contractor.

Cherel is voted off the board, but won’t take it lying down. Lee realizes that Rajesh’s feelings for Erin are clouding his judgement of her work. Maggie is desperate to get Frans and his team some more work.
Episode 1587 13 Sept 05Leon du Plessis realizes that Mrs. Slang Bornman and Duncan Haines were shot within a day of each other. He tells Barker that he is exploring the possibility that Cherel murdered Mrs. Bornman. Erin and Lee clash head on over the style of the programme on Cherel. Steve Stethakis makes a date with Erin’s brother Paul.
Episode 1588 14 Sept 05Niemand and du Plessis find a twenty thousand rand deposit from Cherel in Mrs Bornman’s banking records. Erin is working late when she receives a tantalising message: . Stella tells Maggie she has a building job for her and Frans.

Episode 1593 21 Sept 05Erin goes straight to work from Rajesh’s flat, and Nandipha finds out that she spent the night with the boss.. Niemand and du Plessis weave a cunning strategy to break down Cherel de Villiers-Haineses’ defences. The new decorations at the Buller house are revealed.
Episode 1594 22 Sept 05Barker Haines concludes that if Cherel’s guilt cannot be lawfully proved, justice still demands that it be proved unlawfully. Erin doesn’t want Paul to know where her lover lives, and Rajesh finds this paranoid. Frans’ work at the boarding house is finished and Maggie finds herself being drawn into further responsibilities
